Noosa
Blue Water Swim
The now famous annual event takes advantage
of Noosa’s fabulous climate, sublime
lifestyle and relaxed atmosphere. The Noosa
Blue Water Swim evolved between Noosa Blue
Resort Owner, Phillip Harding and Ray White
boss, Brian White. Both mates and keen Noosa
swimmers, they have securely made this event
part of the annual, South East Queensland
ocean based event calendar and purposely
time the event to take advantage of Noosa’s
magnificent winter weather.
You can be part of the Noosa Blue Water
Swim by competing in the 2km, 1km or 500m
swims. Noosa’s subtropical temperatures
make it an ideal place for ocean swimming
all year round.

Noosa
Longweekend
Celebrate a unique array of festivities
in one of Australia’s most beautiful
destinations…Noosa
The Noosa Longweekend was conceived by
Australian playwright David Williamson
and his wife, author Kristin Williamson,
and a small group of culture lovers. The
event celebrates drama, literature, film,
music, visual arts, food and wine, the
environment and the community.
Its objective is to develop another substantial
dimension to Noosa's sun, surf and sand
image for local residents and visitors.
It runs for 10 days – 4 - 13 July, that is
a “Noosa Longweekend”.
The event’s backbone is traditionally
a David Williamson play, which premiere’s
its Queensland season during the Noosa
Longweekend each year. The rest of the
Festival features well known local and
national (and sometimes controversial!)
guest speakers, entertainers, award winning
writers and authors, free public events,
opening and closing celebrations, kids
events, historical activities plus much
more.
